This is our first choice for the eradication of Trichodina. Works very well for Costia, and many other parasites. It will discolour water for up to 7 days but it will also help to remove organic content and the water will return very clear. During the first few hours very active stage, it can remove some oxygen from water, so it is advisable to keep plenty of air running within the pond/ treatment/quarantine tank.
We supply a very fine crystalline grade which is far easier to dissolve. It is also a good disinfectant for ponds and nets. Do not use at or below 10 deg.C.
We do not recommend the use of this chemical as a bath treatment.
