Envirex is a totally natural product that degrades solids at the same time lowering ammonia, nitrite nitrate, phosphates and other unwanted substances in the pond water. The result is a more hygienic pond in which disease is less likely to develop. Envirex does not kill blanket weed but inhibits its growth due to its effect on the causes of blanket weed.
Used regularly, it can prove very economical. We find it very beneficial in helping to control water quality in our hospital tank when unavoidably rapidly changing stocking levels.
Dosages:
New Ponds – 80 grams per 1000 gallons
Mature Ponds – 40 grams per 1000 gallons (allow a few days for settlement)
A regular maintenance dose of 5 grams per 1000 gallons should be used every 4-7 days
